Webster's Dictionary defines the word DESIGN as a verb meaning "to prepare the preliminary sketch or plan for a work to be executed." Design is the critical step between the concept and the actual production of something. Often, it gets overlooked entirely. Once a great idea is hatched, its design is taken for granted and it goes straight into production. Look around you at the advertisements that just don't make any sense. How about web sites that you can't find your way from one page to the next? Poor design. You wouldn't settle for a poorly designed wristwatch, with the hands laid out wherever the manufacturer felt like putting them, would you?
